General Question Asked in Interviews: Do You Work On Backlinks?

Well, In all the interviews, it is a question which is asked every time do you work on backlinks. Even I have faced this question in almost all the interviews. So let us understand what is backlinks and then we will move further on the process of backlinks. As I have explained in my previous blogs about SEO and their activities. All the activities we work is just to create the backlinks for the particular website.

Backlinks are basically the links which point towards our websites, means a link of our website on different websites. This is done by various methods like SEO, SMO. The main purpose of creating backlinks is just simple as to attract visitors to our websites and turns them into sales to increase your ROI( Return On Investment).

Creating Backlinks have some process, which is explained in this blog. Let's start with the simple points:

• Internal Links :- These are the simple links as we see in some websites that keywords in the content have some hyperlinks which go to the other pages which are relevant to that keyword. The concept behind these interlinking is that the user visits important pages of the websites.

• External Links :- These are the links which go outside of the website like we see at the header or the footer of the websites the social media icons or buttons, which goes externally on the social media pages which is very important for the user engagement on the social pages of the website.
• Content Marketing :- This part totally includes the off-page SEO i.e. all the activities of the off-page like Article Posting, Blog Posting, Classified Submissions, Press Release Submissions etc.. Here comes important activity which is Guest Posting. Let me explain the gust posting for you. In the guest posting, we generally asked for the good blogging websites to publish our blog so that it might attract more visitors, but the more important thing for the guest posting is that your content for the blog must be of high quality. It takes some time to publish your blog on the guest blogging websites. So till then keep patience.
• Infographic Images:- You must have seen this kind of images on the social media websites which is generally of high-quality images with a lot of information on that. As we see that the listing of different products on the single websites in the form of images and at the end of that image we see the link of a website for the backlinks. These are the quality backlinks for our websites. Also, we can post these infographic images on different websites to get traffic.

• Social Engagement:- This has become the most important source to make the presence of your websites on social media. As 80 - 90% of users are engaged with social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+, Pinterest etc. So your website should have social media profiles for the better presence amongst the users.
• Blog Comment/ Forum Posting:- This is one of the most important aspects of your website promotion and to create backlinks. You can do start discussions on the different forum posting websites as the users are really eager to get answers for their questions. Quora, Facebook are some platform to start discussions and increase your website presence amongst the users. Blog Commenting is also a good method, as bloggers want appreciation for their work so you can comment on their blogs and make the presence of your links.
• Competitor Analysis:- You can create backlinks by checking your competitive website's backlinks. There are many tools available for checking the backlinks of websites. By that, you can see how many links are pointing to your competitive websites.
